Extra storage space for everyday needs

Not everything fits in or needs to be kept inside your apartment. Jyrkkälä residents have access to several types of storage facilities that make everyday life easier and help keep their homes organised.

Whether you need space for seasonal clothing, sports equipment, prams, bicycles or hobby equipment, the different storage options provide extra room for items that are not needed every day.

Apartment storage units

Each apartment has its own free storage unit located on the ground floor of the building. It provides a convenient place for seasonal items, moving boxes, hobby equipment and other belongings that are used less frequently.

Bicycle storage

Every building has a shared bicycle storage room. It provides a practical place to store bicycles throughout the year and makes everyday life easier for residents who cycle regularly.

Pram storage

There is a  separate pram storage room in every building. It’s especially useful for families with children, as prams do not need to be stored inside the apartment. You can obtain access to the pram storage from the Jyrkkälä office by paying a refundable deposit of €10.

 

Cold storage rooms

Cold storage rooms are located on the ground floors of buildings L, M and N. Tenants can reserve a private cold storage by paying a refundable deposit of €10. A cold storage room provides useful extra space when you need to store more food than usual. It can be especially helpful when organising parties or other occasions and the cold storage space in your apartment is not enough.

Lockable outdoor storage spaces

Lockable outdoor storages are also available for tenants who need additional storage. They are suitable for items such as motorcycles, mopeds, mountain bikes, electric scooters and car tyres.

The storage agreement is made at the Jyrkkälä office and the monthly storage fee is invoiced together with the apartment rent.

• Outdoor bicycle storage: €5 per month
• Moped storage: €10 per month
• Motorcycle storage: €10 per month

Terminating a storage contract

If you no longer need a storage space that you rent, please contact the office to cancel the agreement or use the online form.
