Broadband is included in the rent

Jyrkkälä residents have access to broadband provided through the housing company. The rent includes a free 100/100 Mbps internet connection.

The fast connection is suitable for remote work, studying, video calls, streaming and online gaming without a separate basic monthly fee. Having an internet connection readily available is a convenient benefit, especially when moving into a new home.

How to activate your internet connection

Although the basic internet connection is included in the rent, it must be activated before use. Contact Telia customer service and set up your own broadband agreement. Once the agreement has been made, Telia will activate the connection in your apartment.

After activation, connect an Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi router to port 1 of the home distribution panel according to the instructions.

Do you need a faster connection?

If the basic 100/100 Mbps connection is not fast enough for your needs, you can order a faster connection and additional services from Telia at special prices available to housing company customers.

Both the free basic connection and faster connections must be ordered from Telia before they can be used. The internet connection works with your existing devices through the apartment’s data socket using Ethernet technology.

Telia will provide more information about the available speeds, services and prices when you place your order.

Cable TV

Cable TV services are also available in the apartments through Telia’s network. The cable TV connection allows you to watch Finnish television channels and use other TV services with your own television without a separate antenna.
